People often feel empty on a daily basis and search for ways to fill this void. Distractions can be appealing as a way to avoid dealing with this emptiness and can be a temporary quick fix.
A more permanent solution for filling the void would be to connect with your True Self. This can lead to self-acceptance which in turn can lead to a feeling of being complete.
I search outside for sparks of light
Transforming my wrongs into rights
I give advice along with hugs
Yet deep inside the void still tugs
My heartstrings play a melody
Touching my mind as symphonies
The sounds I hear distracts my brain
An endless task to fill with gain
I talk in silence to my soul
