In order to prevent displacement, the character is not conscious of the fact that it is a character and instead sees life as reality.
Life is an endless show.
The people laugh with heads held high
and glassy eyes that gaze too low.
Deep sighs are no surprise
yet smiles so bright they glow.
Is this world just a parade?
or better said a masquerade?
with arrows, spears, and bows?
